Mt. Annapurna, one of the highest mountains of our country and the tenth highest mountain of the world is a demanding and popular trekking destination of our country. This is one of the most challenging and dangerous peak climbing of our country which takes the trekkers and mountaineers through the heart of Mt. Annapurna to the summit of this beautiful mountain. One needs a good physical stamina and good trekking and climbing experience to reach to the summit of this beautiful peak.
The summit of this mountain provides the spectacular panoramic views of mountain ranges including some of the highest mountains of the world such as Everest (Highest mountain of the world), Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Makalu, Pumori, Island peak, Cho-Oyu, Fishtail and other many beautiful mountain ranges. One can also get an awesome opportunity to do the sightseeing of the unique cultures and lifestyle of Tamang and Sherpa people living in this region. You will also explore a wide variety of species including some of the rare animals and birds found in the Annapurna region of our country.
We personally recommend to have technical climbing experience as you have to trek on some of the most difficult paths of our country. You will also be given some basic trainings in the base camp which will help you on the difficult trails during the climb to the summit. Chances of avalanches, heavy snow fall, wind, ice falls and altitude sickness are normal as we will be climbing above the height of 8000m.
Annapurna Peak Climbing starts with a scenic drive to Nayapul from Pokhara. We will then start our trek and reach to Tikhedhunga and then to Ghorepani. You will also get an opportunity to trek to the summit of Ghorepani Poonhill which will give you an experience for the tiring trek in this mighty mountain. After sightseeing we will head to Tatopani and then to Ghasa. Trekking ahead from many Sherpa villages and forests will take us to the base camp of Mt. Annapurna. We will then start our challenging climb and reach to the summit of this beautiful mountain.
