    Baruntse Expedition is an adventurous trek that takes the trekkers to the untouched and unbeaten land of Himalayan region. This is an ideal trekking option for those trekkers and mountaineers who wish to trek in the Himalayas above 7000m. This is a totally rewarding trek that offers the visitors with a plenty of majestic things starting from the magnificent mountain views to the opportunity to explore the majestic land of Himalayas. Mt. Baruntse standing at a height of 7129m is located just to the south of Everest (Highest peak of the world), Lhotse, Nuptse and Makalu. One can see the spectacular closer view of these mountain ranges from the peak of this beautiful mountain. Trekkers with a little bit of trekking and climbing experience can easily do this trek as this trek is one of the easiest treks among the treks above 7000m.

     

    Mt. Baruntse Expedition offers the visitors with the spectacular panoramic mountain views including some of the highest peaks of the world such as Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Annapurna, Mera Peak and other many mountain ranges. Some of the major attractions of this expedition are the sightseeing of beautiful Barun and Imja and Hunku valley, ancient stupas and monasteries located in this region and the wide variety of flora and fauna found in this region. One can get an opportunity to explore the unique lifestyle and culture of people living in this region since many years.

    Baruntse Expedition starts with a short flight to Lukla from where we will trek to three beautiful valleys of this region: Imja, Hunku and Barun valley. We will then ascend higher to reach the Mera Peak leaving Hunku valley behind. The trail of this peak offers a beautiful panorama of Himalayan ranges and unique landscapes. After reaching the summit of this peak, we will descend to reach the basecamp of Mt. Baruntse. We will then descend and trek back to Lukla from where we will fly back to Kathmandu and end our trip.

    17 April: Day 02: Preparation, Briefings, and half day sight seeing in Kathmandu.

    18 April: Day 03:Fly to Lukla (2800m)and trek to Chhutang (3020m), lodge.

    19 April: Day 04: Trek from Chhutang to Thuli Kharka (3900m) via Zatrawa La Pass (4610m).lodge.

    20 April: Day 05: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Kothe (4095m)., lodge.

    21 April: Day 06: Trek from Kothe to Thangnak (4,350m), lodge.

    22 April: Day 07: Rest and acclimatization day at Thangnak.

    23 April: Day 08: Trek from Thangnak to Khare (5,045m), lodge.

    25 April: Day 09: Rest and acclimatization day at Khare.

    26 April: Day 10: Trek to Mera La (Pass) (5350m.), camping.

    27 April: Day 11: Trek to Seto Pokhari Camp(4850m), camping.

    27 April: Day 12: Trek to Baruntse Base Camp and prepare Base Camp, camping.

    28 April-08May: Days 13-28: Climbing period (Baruntse summit period-7129m)

    09May: Day 29: Preparation to returning (Clean Base Camp) Trek to Seto Pokhari (4850m), camping.

    10May: Day 30: Trek to Mera La (5350m), camping.

    11May: Day 31:Trek to Thangnak (4356m), lodge.

    12May: Day 32: Trek to Thuli Kharka, lodge.

    13May: Day 33:Trek from Thuli Kharka to Lukla, lodge.

    14May: Day 34: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, free day.

    15May: Day 35: Rest, D-Briefing and evening farewell dinner.

    16May: Day 36: Transfer to the airport for final departure

    Cost Include
