Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek, one of the most challenging and adventurous treks is one of the popular and demanding treks of our country. This trek is chiefly attractive to those people who love trekking on mountains and experience the wilderness of Himalayan region and also this trek requires an excellent physical condition and basic mountaineering skills. One should need a previous climbing experience and good physical stamina with technical climbing experience to complete this circuit. Dhaulagiri region is the home of thousands of rare species including rare animals and birds which you can see and explore during the trek.
The major attraction of this trek is the closer and majestic view of one of the popular 8000m peaks and the 7th highest peak of the world, Mt. Dhaulagiri. You will also trek through many unexplored and untouched Sherpa settlements of Dhaulagiri region who are living in this area since many years. Dhaulagiri Circuit trek offers the majestic views of Himalayan ranges including some of the highest mountain ranges of the world such as Everest (Highest mountain of the world), Mt. Dhaulagiri, Thorong Peak, Annapurna and Fishtail. Some of the major attractions of this trek are the Kaligandaki gorge, spectacular views of Dhaulagiri I, II, III and IV, numerous ethnic villages and other many beautiful things.
Dhaulagiri Circuit trek starts with a scenic drive to Beni from where we will trek via many ancient villages to reach the base camp of Mt. Dhaulagiri. We will then do the sightseeing of the beautiful panoramic views of the isolated mountains, we will start to descend our trek down to Marpha, one of the famous cities of Mustang district which gives an awesome view of Mt. Annapurna, Nilgiri and Machhapuchhare. From Marpha, we will fly back to Pokhara and return Kathmandu which will be the ending point pf our trek.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1400m):
Namaste and welcome to the country of Nepal. You will be welcomed by our representative in the Tribhuvan International Airport and then transferred to our hotel in Kathmandu. At evening, you will be welcomed by an authentic Nepalese cuisine in one of the typical Nepalese restaurants of Thamel and then we will do a briefing about the itinerary of our trip. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing including Bhaktapur and Lalitpur:
After an early morning breakfast, we will head towards the beautiful and ancient places of Kathmandu valley which includes the world heritage sites, temples, places and other many beautiful things. Talking about Kathmandu, this place is a paradise to the tourists of all over the world and one can get an opportunity to relax his/her body form head to toe by doing the sightseeing of some of the iconic things of the world. You will be taken to Pashupatinath temple which is one of the most religious and historical temples of Kathmandu. Thousands of devotees from Nepal, India and all over the world come to this ancient temple for their rituals and celebrations. After the visit of Pashupatinath, we will drive for 15-20 minutes to do the sightseeing of Bouddhanath stupa. After exploring these historical monuments, we will be doing the sightseeing of ancient Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. Visiting Lalitpur and Bhaktapur will give you an opportunity to see the living goddess, Kumari and explore the ancient streets filled with arts and architects. A refreshing evening walk on the streets of Thamel and Basantapur will make you feel Kathmandu a really cool and historical place and you will also explore lots of new things in these streets. At afternoon, we will be back to our hotel and do the briefing of Everest Expedition trip. You will be guided about some of the important rules and suggestions for the trip such as what is your responsibility, what to do and what not to do on the trek? You will be then introduced to your fellow expedition staffs and guides and relax the hotel after dinner. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Beni:
We will today take a long drive to reach the starting point of our trek. After an early morning breakfast, we will travel to Beni through our private vehicle. Overnight at Beni.
Day 04: Beni to Tatopani:
Today the trail descends steeply through the dense mass-covered rhododendron forests. We will pass some ancient villages and walk alongside the Ghaja Khola. Tatopani is famous for natural hot springs – you can have time for a hot Scrub-up. The spectacular panorama stretches from Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Machhapuchhare, Annapurna I (8091m), Lamjung Himal and other small Himalayas. Overnight at Tatopani.
Day 05: Tatopani to Ghasa:
We will be trekking along the Kaligandaki riverside and then we will trek into the sub-tropical region. We will cross the suspension bridges and then trek via the solid rock walls to reach Ghasa. Overnight at Ghasa.
Day 06: Ghasa to Marpha:
We will today trek along the Kali Gandaki gorge which is the deepest gorge of the world. You can visit the red-roofed Taglung Gompa on a hillside behind the huge sacred tree. Marpha is the main inhabitants of the ethnic group of Thakalis which has been favourite amongst the trekkers. It has kept its traditional narrow paved alleys and passageways and an extensive drainage system flows under the flagstone paved street. Overnight in Marpha.
Day 07: Marpha to Yak Kharka:
You will follow an unmarked trail which will lead you to Yak kharka. We will cross an old log bridge between Gunsang and Yak Kharka. Trekking ahead will take us to Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak Kharka.
Day 08: Yak Kharka to French Col:
Today we will be trekking through the unique landscapes to reach the French Col. We will pass different ancient villages and grasslands to reach the French Col. Overnight at French Col.
Day 09: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp:
We will be trekking today to the base camp of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Leaving French Col behind, we will trek ahead and reach the base camp of Mt. Dhaulagiri. One can get an opportunity to do the sightseeing of some of the highest mountains including Everest, Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri and other many beautiful mountains.
Day 10: Climbing period to the summit:
We will be climbing to the summit of this beautiful peak in these days. Trek is going to more challenging and technical. One should need previous climbing experience with a good physical stamina to reach the summit of this beautiful peak. Overnights at tented camps.
Day 11: Trek to Dhampus:
After reaching the summit of Mt. Dhaulagiri, we will trek down to reach Dhampus which gives us a good opportunity to do the sightseeing of beautiful sunrise and sunset. Overnight at Dhampus.
Day 12: Trek to Marpha:
We will be trekking along the Kali Gandaki gorge to reach Marpha. You can do the sightseeing of this beautiful valley in your remaining time. Overnight at Marpha.
Day 13: Trek to Jomsom:
Trekking back via Tatopani will bring us to Jomsom. You can explore this beautiful valley. Feel free to talk and gain the experience of living from these local people. Overnight at Jomsom.
Day 14: Fly back to Pokhara:
After an early morning breakfast, we will fly back to Pokhara and do the sightseeing of this beautiful place. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu:
We will fly back to Kathmandu and then do the sightseeing of this beautiful valley. Feel free to stroll on the streets of Durbarmarg, Thamel and Patan. Overnight at Kathmadnu.
Day 16: Departure Day:
You will be transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport and then transferred to your own home country.
Cost Include
